Critical Path Method (CPM)

Critical Path Method (CPM) :-

This technique is used for the scheduling of the project activities.

TERMINOLOGY :-

(1) PROJECT :- It consists of "n" number of activities ,  interrelated to each other & are to be executed in their order for completion of the product.

(2) ACTIVITY :- Any task / work which consume resource or time is known as Activity.

(3) EVENT :- The moment at which any activity starts or finish. An event doesn't consume any money or time.

(4) DUMMY ACTIVITY :- This is an imaginary activity, it doesn't consume any resource or time.
