Phases of Project management & calculations of  parameters (CPM) :-

There Are three phases of the Project management:-

1. PLANNING :- 

➤Dividing the project into distinct activities.

➤Estimating time requirement for each activity.

➤Establishing procedure relationship among the activities.

➤Construction of arrow diagram.

2. SCHEDULING :-

Determines the start & end time of each activity.

3. CONTROLLING :- 

Uses the arrow diagram & time chart for continuous reporting.

    

PARAMETERS:-

(1) Earliest start time :-

Esj = Max ( Esi + Dij )

(2) Latest completion time :-

Lci = Min ( Lci - Dij )

(3) Total Floats :-

TFij = Lcj - Esi - Dij 

(4) Free Floats :-

FFij = Esj - Esi - Dij
